We are thrilled to announce that the Winter Concert, themed “Legacy in Harmony”, held on January 13, 2026, at St John’s Cathedral, was a resounding success. The concert opened with the beautiful hymn O God, Our School’s Eternal Light, composed by Dr. Andrew Hon, our Dean of Music and Performing Arts.
A heartfelt thanks and bravi to our talented A-Musicians from the Secondary Division Orchestra, Secondary Division String Orchestra, Choirs, Chinese Ensemble, Primary Division Senior Choir, and both the Secondary and Primary Division Handbell Teams, along with our student soloists and all the amazing guest performers. Their remarkable talents and outstanding performances captivated a full house of enthusiastic audience members, earning them thunderous applause. 👏🏻
We would also like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Nancy Loo for her exquisite rendition of Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op. 23 on the piano. 🎹
In the finale, “Worthy Is the Lamb” from Messiah was performed by Mr. Felix Yeung, Director of Music of St John’s Cathedral, on the organ, along with the Primary Division Senior Choir, Secondary Division Choirs, and A-Parent Singers. This beautiful performance encapsulated the spirit of our community, reminding us that through music, tradition, and collaboration, we create lasting connections and memories. We look forward to many more harmonious gatherings in the future!
