The Variety Show 2025 unfolded with grandeur last night at the Y Theatre of the Youth Square in Chai Wan.
The musical performance was a resounding success. Our students delivered an outstanding performance, showcasing artistic excellence on par with professional theater troupes. Under the leadership of Dr. Hon and the dedicated efforts of all teachers, our students captivated the attention of every parent and guest present, eliciting waves of applause throughout the event.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all guests, parents, teachers and students for graciously supporting and celebrating the fruits of our students’ hard work, as well as for fostering the growth of aesthetic development within our school. Each performer, having excelled over the past year and garnered accolades in various competitions, brought together a constellation of elite talents from diverse artistic backgrounds, shining brightly under the spotlight!
The success of the event has filled our school community with pride and excitement, signaling a new chapter for the 2024-2025 Arts Festival programs!
Variety Show is a cherished annual tradition at our school. It serves as a vital platform for showcasing our students’ exceptional performing arts talents. Differing from the previous year, this year featured a groundbreaking integration of performance segments with the musical “Aladdin”, presented in a Broadway musical theatre style, offering a mesmerizing visual spectacle to the audience! The enchanting narrative of “Aladdin” reignited the spirit of adventure in all attendees, encouraging everyone to bravely explore the limitless possibilities that surround them. This success would not have been possible without the contributions of the unsung heroes behind the scenes, as well as the invaluable support of our partners, RED Academy, and Mr. Horace Mui.

Part 2Amidst an ambiance steeped in exotic allure, the Choir Teams from both Primary and Secondary Divisions, Orchestra, Jazz Dance Team, Chinese Dance Team and others talented performers graced the stage with fantastic performances, elevating the overall atmosphere, transporting the audience on a magical journey. 
This accomplishment eloquently highlighted the musical, dance and performing arts prowess of our students, alongside the collaborative spirit of all on-stage and off-stage helpers and staff.
The show reached its dazzling pinnacle with the timeless melody of “A Whole New World”. 
We are highly honored to have Prof. Jean-Sébastien Vallée, an internationally recognised conductor, to conduct the finale. Like the song’s promise of wonder and new horizons, marking a splendid finale for the Variety Show 2025 where dreams took flight!
Looking ahead to our 20th Anniversary next year, we eagerly anticipate taking our musical productions to even greater heights. See you all next year!
