School is not just somewhere for us to get our graduation certificates. I always believe it serves as a telescope for us to peek into the microcosm of this imperfect world.
We all have had the chance to explore our potential and identity throughout various activities held by A-school. As one of the former student leaders, together with all other candidates, we had to critically think about the students’ needs, address teachers’ concerns, and promote our election platforms. Having enough ballots does not mean an end to our work, but the beginning to serve our school to gain integrity. All students should be equal at our school. We are just different in our positions and abilities to make our school better. This experience at A-school has shaped my attitude toward becoming a respected professional in our society. As a lawyer who has to serve and communicate with different classes, I always remind myself that I should not just earn my status and power with my academic degrees, but the trust and confidence of all the others.
Last but not least, A-school has been a great platform to connect me with my outstanding classmates. All of them have now become specialists in their own fields. Their support and insights are always precious to my life and career.
