Looking back, I am truly grateful for the invaluable learning opportunities and cherished memories that A-School provided me. After completing my MBChB in the Global Physician-Leadership Stream at CUHK and a year of internship, I have just begun my basic surgical training in Orthopedics and Traumatology.
From the inspiring individuals I encountered to the transformative experiences that shaped my growth, A-School was a nurturing environment that encouraged exploration. Whether through project-based learning or participating in the debate team, I was always guided by a sense of curiosity. This curiosity not only taught me how to learn, but also instilled in me a lifelong mindset of inquiry and discovery.
A-School also supported my extracurricular passions, such as swimming and leadership training within the prefect team. What mattered most, however, were not just the achievements, but the failures—the trial and error that deepened my understanding of myself. These experiences taught me resilience and the importance of perseverance.
A-School provided me with the space to explore, grow and discover both my strengths and limitations. I am grateful for every step of my journey at HKBUAS, as it equipped me with the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in my medical career. The foundation I built at A-School continues to guide me as I embark on this new chapter in my life.
