This piece centers around the Chinese proverb“ Respond to the myriad changes with the unchanging”, exploring the themes of eternity and transformation through the imagery of flowing cloud patterns. The artist skillfully blends Western abstract lines with traditional Eastern aesthetics, creating an intricate interplay that highlights cross-cultural artistic resonance between movement and stillness.
Inspired by her time in Germany, the artist sought to explore the essence of natural elements through abstract lines. “Transformation” is a culmination of this journey of East-West artistic fusion—within the flowing clouds, viewers can grasp the philosophical insight of“ responding to change with constancy,” reflecting the clear essence of life amid constant flux. Additionally, the work showcases her artistic exploration since graduating from A-School, marking her growth and evolution within the art world.
